bsennaOMP defined the agreement with Hispania Racing Team (HRT) for the provision of technical equipment for drivers and mechanics.

After Ayrton Senna, OMP F1 driver in the early 90s, also his promising nephew Bruno wears technical equipment made by OMP. In HRT racing team is also the young Indian driver Karun Chandhok. OMP  provides all technical equipment (fireproof suits, shoes, gloves, underwear) for the two pilots and the whole team.

With this agreement, there are now three Formula 1 teams that are provided by OMP this season, an absolute record in history in the greatest car racing championship. The agreement with HRT in fact follows the recently signed partnership with Renault F1 Team and Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Among the great champions who wore fireproof suits OMP is Ayrton Senna, “driver OMP” from ‘91 to ‘94 in conjunction with 2 of the 3 world championship titles won in his career. OMP’s partnership with Bruno Senna is not a novelty; before landing in Formula 1 the Brazilian driver has in fact worn fireproof suits OMP in the Formula 3 and GP2 series, a springboard for young and emerging drivers.
