The new range of carbon FIA 8860 homologated helmets and the new intercom line TOP DRIVERS with the control box I-RACE – a must in this category

GP and SPEED 8860 Carbon with the shell entirely in carbon fiber by using the innovative technique OMP CARBON MOULDING TECHNOLOGY, with “DUCTING AIR SYSTEM” ITS unique canalization system to offer maximum driving comfort and better optimization of heat exchange, complete with HANS device anchors and prepared for each system FHR (Frontal Head Restraint)

CARBON JET 8860, complete with “TOP SOUND SYSTEM” (noise-cancelling headset for WRC and S 2000, adaptive microphone for noise filtering) to match the new unit I-Race JA/855

The intercom control box, manufactured by using the best materials, the many tests in the car and electronics originating from military use optimized for Racing make the OMP product technologically advanced.

To complete the newest and technologically advanced line of 8860 helmets and intercoms of the TOP DRIVER line we find the helmets of the SNELL SA 2010 collection with lightweight composite shell complete with anchors for HANS safety device and the control boxes of the line PROFESSIONAL LINE with the new RACE TECH JA/856 and the JA/848 RACER LINE.

OMP and Yvan Muller WORLD CHAMPION once again!!!

An excellent double win of Robert Huff in Macao wasn’t sufficient to get his dream come true – his team mate Yvan Muller become WTCC World Champion for third time.

The two Chevrolet drivers arrived on the asian city circuit with a gap of 20 points; therefor the british driver needed quite a miracle to stop the alsacian driver on his way to become for the 3rd time world champion.

And he was quite able to make it, but he had to surrender for only 3 points.

Race 1 maintaned Robert Huff’s dream, good start from the pole position and a good handling of the race by defending his position from the attacks of Muller.

Race 2 was also leaded by Robert Huff, but a smart Yvan Muller was able to reach the 3rd place by overtaking Mehdi Bennani and Nykjaer and so win his 3rd championship!!!

A great championship, struggled in every race and gave everyone the right suspence!!!

Congratulations to all the CHEVROLET Team and also to US!!!!!!!

Vallelunga, six hours of Rome!!

Vallelunga, November 21st

Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Marco Cioci and Gianmaria Bruni won the “Six hours of Rome” on AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT2.

The primacy is the title of the Endurance Champions Cup for Perazzini and Cioci (Bruni has been a member of the crew for the only Roman race, fourth and last event of the championship).

For the Amato Ferrari team, after the 2011 victories of the prestigious Le Mans Series championship, Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, FIA GT3 and GT Sprint a new title has arrived.

Perazzini-Cioci dominated the competition since the first race.

The same happened during the Roman endurance race at Vallelunga, from the free practice to the chequered flag of the race.

The IRC-KING is Mikkelsen!!!

After dominating the whole round of the Cyprus Rally, the norway 22 years old Andreas Mikkelsen together with Ola Fløene, become the new IRC champions!!!

The Skoda UK driver has won also the last special stage with an advantage of 4”1 second on the 2010 IRC champion Juho Hanninen and with one minute on the czech driver Jan Kopecky.

Due to this win and to the point doubling of the Cyprus Rally, Andreas was able to win against the official Skoda with 1 and ½ points in the championship and become the youngest IRC champion ever.

Our sincerest congratulations to Andreas, Ola and the whole Skoda UK team for the great season and the fantastic IRC title!!!
