Another successful year is now coming to his end and this important result is due to the good cooperation between the OMP’s team members always working hard and with passion, but also to the growing number of customer partner. It’s the passion for our job and of our drivers that allowed us to win two World Championship in WTCC & WEC, the European IRC and, for the first time ever, the IndyCar Series title with Ryan Hunter-Ray. We are also happy to witness a remarkable success of our products in the US market.

Once again it’s the passion for the restless research of excellence for our car, team and driver product lines that allowed us to be chosen by FIA – Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile as the exclusive Official Supplier of their marshals, Formula 1 safety car personnel and of WEC. One of the main focuses our R&D department has been working on for 2013 is the increased comfort for drivers and teams. OMP introduces the “Dry System” patented technology, a revolutionary system that allows the creation of strategically selected areas to be highly breathable in order to drastically reduce body heat and improve performance.

This technology will be available for the ONE product line for both the suits (One Evo and One S) and the underwear ONE has been engineered with a breakthrough three-dimensional solution with tubular components that allows reducing the number of seams. One of the key comfort factors for the driver are shoes. It is for this reason that we’ve invested a considerable amount of resources in developing OMP’s best product line, the One Shoes collection.

Our driver offer would not be complete without the introduction of the new ONE S glove that features a palm with differentiated grips in order to guarantee the optimal sensibility. We’ve also improved our First line entry level glove. Because motorsport is a team effort we’ve focused in improving comfort also for the crew. Thanks to our winning experience in the WEC World Championship and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we’re introducing significant details for the FIA crew suits and shoes.

Last but not least we’ve improved the helmet and intercom systems named “MY 2013” along with the addition of the XS size for the TRS seat For 2013 we’ve also concentrated our efforts for the karting line and we’re pleased to introduce exciting changes. The DART K suit will also be available in kids’ sizes, with the updated design and with the fluorescent color option. Also new the underwear that features a modern design and a great breathability.

The offering is completed with the new ONE EVO KL shoe in smooth leather, the new Rain gloves in rain and wind proof neoprene fabric. The Rush gloves features a new highly sticky palm and the GP7 SK helmet offers an excellent quality/price ratio.

In order to highlight OMP’s soul, our team profound passion now shared by over 50,000 Facebook friends throughout the 80 plus nations we’re distributed in, we will launch, in 2013 and in conjunction with our 40th Anniversary, a new tagline:

“Racing Spirit”, the essence of what OMP does best.
