Extraordinary victory in race 1 in Imola (22/5/2010) for Pierre Kaffer (Ferrari 430 AF Corse Team), who lost the pole position he received by his team mate Alvaro Barba because of a spin on the Rivazza bend; he then manages to make up the lost seconds and to take over Raffaele Gianmaria in the last lap, winning a race which seemed to have eluded him.
An exuberant Johnny Herbert in race 1 in Imola (18/4/2010) achieves second place in the final sprint in the Superstars Series, open only to the cars endowed with V8 engines. The English former F1 driver (Motorzone Race Car Team) started off in fifth place, and manages to catch up with his Chevrolet Lumina CR-8, until reaching the second place, in a breathtaking race. In race 2, Johnny Herbert does not start the race because of a technical problem, and Max Pigoli on a Mercedes AMG of the Romeo Ferraris Team starts in second place and goes on to win the race, fighting against Del Castello, Morbidelli and Biagi.
