WTCC, Budapest…OMP wins!!

Great start Saturday with the front row entirely Chevrolet.

Sunday A.Menu’ has been placed first on competition beating all the other drivers, taking advantage of the Saturday’s pole position and driving from the green light to the checkered flag. Less punchy the team-mates Huff and Muller who have been placed fourth and fifth, very close to the podium !!

En race 2, under the rain with red flag and the temporary interruption from the race, the best driver was the reigning World champion Yvan Muller with the first victory on the Championship 2011.

Muller, with great skill and experience as a “WORLD CHAMPION” shows to anyone how to race in the wet !!

In back of the french driver, the other Chevrolet of R.Huff followed by Gagriele Tarquita with Seat.

OMP is dominating wining hands down!!

Next appointment with the week-end 19th June on Brno’s Circuit !!

Gabriele Tarquini ends Chevrolet’s winning run in race 2 !!

WTCC Valencia – victory for Tarquini and an all OMP podium in race 1

After the pole position conquered on Saturday, Gabriele Tarquini (WTCC world champion in office) wins again in Valencia in race 1 (18th-19th September 2010) with his Seat Leon TDi of the SR Sport Team. The driver from the Abruzzo Italian Region dominated the Spanish race from the start and fended off the attacks of the Chevrolet Cruzes of Yvan Muller and Rob Huff, who respectively came second and third past the post.

WTCC – Gabriele Tarquini wins race 2 in Portugal

The fifth round of the WTCC Championship took place on the Portimao (Portugal) circuit, during the week – end of 3rd – 4th July 2010. Gabriele Tarquini (Seat Leon Tdi – SR Sport) came through from sixth on the grid to win race 2. Yvan Muller and Alain Menu, both driving official Chevrolet Cruze cars, finished second and third respectively. Rob Huff was stripped of his third place and slipped to 22nd because of his aggressive driving.

WTCC – Gabriele Tarquini first in race 1 in Zolder

Race 1 of the world WTCC on the Belgian race track of Zolder (19th – 20th June) was won by Jordi Genè, but his early start cost him the exclusion from the race. The victory therefore went to his team mate Gabriele Tarquini (Seat Leon Tdi). Second and third place went to the two Crevrolet Cruze of Yvan Muller and Alan Menu
