We are the legend!!

Ninth edition of the “Rally Legend”.

The WRC category was dominated by our italian Luca Pedersoli and his brilliant co-driver Dino Maggioni, Magneti Marelli’s Aftermarket CEO.

It was an exciting battle with the Peugeot WRC driven by the 2 times world champion Marcus Gronholm, retired later due to problems on his turbine.

For Pedersoli also a great satisfaction for having done the best total time of all drivers on the special stages.

Pede and Dino has beaten everyone!!!

Great result for OMP standing on all the 3 podium’s positions!!!

Excellent results for Petter Solberg in Australia!!

Our Norwegian pilot with C. Patterson navigating drove all 26 special trials splendidly, staying on the third step of the podium from the beginning to the end.

« I am really happy for this podium, everything really worked well and we kept up with the pace of the others. I had a lot of fun driving, and I’m happy both for the car and for my performance!! »

TRA….Appennino Reggiano…

Castelnovo Monti – Rudy Michelini and Michele Perna, Ford Focus WRC, won the 35th Appennino Reggiano Rally, which was organized bi Aciservice Reggio and is valid as second race of the B-category of the Trofeo Rally Asfalto-TRA (National Tarmac Rally).

The victory of the tuscan team was clear. Michelini jumped on the lead of the race after the third of the nine races in programm, by enlarging his advantage chilometer after chilometer.

Thanks to this success the driver from Lucca leads the B-category of the Trofeo Rally Asfalto (TRA).

Immediately behind him a brilliant Corrado Fontana arrived 2nd, which means the 1st podium in the world for the new MINI WRC.

This double success of Corrado Fontana and his co-driver Nicola Arena reveals a competitive car, which, even if « only » 1600 Turbo, can challenge 200 turbo cars like Ford Focus and Subaru and give some trouble to their leadership in the rallies.

A fantastic rally also for OMP, who dominates the B category of the TRA and the A category as well !!!
